Club Monaco Fall 2013 lookbook
I’ve been told I should model my whole life but never thought I’d see the day. This was a fantastic opportunity and I’m so grateful the team at Club Monaco invited me to NY to shoot their fall lookbook. It was a flash trip and I hope to make my way back soon to enjoy the city on a more relaxed schedule but in all I couldn’t have asked for a better time.
Put up at the lush Thompson LES, treated to gelato by the lovely Alice Gao and shooting with Justin Chung out of a box truck on the streets of NYC. Everyone was a dream to work with from the CM team to the hair and makeup. I’m a lucky girl.

“I would rather take a photograph than be one” – Lee Miller. She was a successful fashion model in New York City in the 1920s before going to Paris, where she became an established fashion and fine art photographer. I love your photos because there is so much contradiction – they are emotional, beautiful, strong, feminine, homemaker, working woman, nester and traveller. If I look at the modeling photos vs. your photos that you’ve taken, I feel like your photos are so much more colourful and vibrant with depth and personality and a natural beauty that’s rarely captured in the fashion world. Thank you for the inspiration.
love this so. thank you!
