Fall Goodness

Two days left till departure and knowing the weather won’t be the same when I get back I’m trying to soak in every ounce of the fire colored trees and autumn breeze. Campfires, pie/cookie baking and fall festivals!

October. things I’m grateful for

*Bernheim Forest Color Fest

*Homemade pies

*Our front step and that little guy who’s growing up so fast

*Momma Chicken and her babies + the first of our Copper Maran Eggs. Variety is rewarding

*Cooler weather and our dock on the river

*Finished handmade (by me) Christmas quilts started last year. Ready for a colder winter this time.

  1. You have a tremendously inspiring spirit in the way you savor every good moment. I always look forward to new content from you because I really love seeing you thrive, your adorable family (including the furry and feathered members), and it’s just a great testament to the human spirit. Total cross-country girlcrush. You go girl. Seriously.

  2. Just stumbled onto your blog via Pinterest. I used to travel a lot before baby and mortgage, thanks for reminding me of what’s really important! You have a beautiful little family!
