Pressed reset this morning or last night rather when I forced myself to go to bed early instead of burning the midnight oil (again). Woke up earlier than normal and this day has been fantastic as a result.

Yesterday we played at the farm. I planted some tomatoes and green beans just in time for today’s rain. These little things like the salamander I unearthed center me and make me grateful for all I’ve been given.

Fall Goodness

Two days left till departure and knowing the weather won’t be the same when I get back I’m trying to soak in every ounce of the fire colored trees and autumn breeze. Campfires, pie/cookie baking and fall festivals!

October. things I’m grateful for

*Bernheim Forest Color Fest

*Homemade pies

*Our front step and that little guy who’s growing up so fast

*Momma Chicken and her babies + the first of our Copper Maran Eggs. Variety is rewarding

*Cooler weather and our dock on the river

*Finished handmade (by me) Christmas quilts started last year. Ready for a colder winter this time.
