Days like today are few and far between but they have the power to carry me for some time. Grateful for all that was accomplished. The beautiful weather the hard work and now the tired boys sitting at my feet listening to Joni Mitchell on vinyl.
*penny for five things you’re grateful for today?

I recently heard a quote a lady shared at my bible study. It goes,
“What if you woke up today with only the things you thanked God for yesterday?”
It seemed like such an easy concept to grasp yet the statement was so profound. It made me realize how tempting it’s to have an attitude of entitlement instead of gratitude.
So I’ve learned to be thankful for:
God’s grace
Bible Study Fellowship
My daughter’s laugh
Playing frisbee with my dog
The rush of cycling
So good.
Bekah, I am a new fan of your blog and I must admit, I’m bit obsessed. I love the way you choose to live your life. It is beautiful and such an inspiration! I wish you many more days like today.
Today I am grateful for:
1) my family. Though my parents separated a few months ago, we’re finally on the road to recovery.
2) the peaceful rain outside my window
3) the cup of hot tea next to me
4) my love/hate relationship with my major, architecture
5) an evening dedicated to a little me-time

It’s funny how people can be feeling similar feelings at the same time.

New follower of your blog. Really like it. I do the five things a lot with my little sister. Forces you to look at the little things – to slow down and feel gratitude.
My five things today:
1. Enjoying a good cup of coffee without rushing
2. Paid time off with my new position at work
3. Warming up outside and I won’t have to scrape my car when I go out later
4. It’s knitting night!
5. The awesome family and friends I have the fortune of having in my life.
Man, I could probably do 10! But, I’ll save some for later. 🙂
Today, I’m grateful for…
my beautiful family (my only friends and closest companions),
unmade beds,
solitude,
new books,
and…
third-life revelations.
So grateful for you lady.

My boys, they make life worthwhile;
Wonderful hubby who has put up with me for 25 years and counting;
Our health;
My kitty who thinks he is a dog;
The ability to create; and
Decluttering our home one day at a time to have a simpler, more meaningful life
I couldn’t stop at 5!
